I haven’t had the most time to update my blog lately. Obviously, I’ve been going through a good bit with my Mom’s battle with breast cancer, and trying to operate a second blog on her behalf to keep folks updated with her status, but I’ve also been busy with work and with a bit of travel.
I’m currently in Morgan Hill, CA at the World Headquarters for Specialized Bicycle Company. I’m attending their Masters BG Fit Course, which builds on the first BG Fit Course that I attended almost two years ago.
The Masters BG Fit Course throws a lot more technicality at the science of bike fit, where the first course was just covering basic processes. The Masters BG Fit course addresses things like Advanced Fit Techniques and Physical Testing, Triathlon/Time Trial Fit, Mountain Bike Fit, and other issues that you wouldn’t normally be able to tackle with the knowledge you get from the first course.
I’m excited about it, because I just got an e-mail from a friend who is needing some fit issues addressed and is looking to purchase a new bike. I’ve also got messages from another customer who is having back issues and wants to figure them out. I can’t wait to apply these new-found principles when I get back to the shop and enable these folks to be able to ride a very comfortable bike, pain free.
I’ll post more later when I have a chance. Please bear with me, as I’m a little time crunched. Thanks.
